Elvis Trail - Florence, AZ | One Of My Favorite Difficult Trails In AZ

Elivs Trail is one of my favorite trails I've done because it offers quite a bit. I use it as a testing ground for my jeep. I have been back a few times after making mods to my Gladiator and it's fun to see what my improvements did on the trail. This trail is rated a difficult 6-8. Many of the obstacles have multiple routes to take which also makes it fun for coming back multiple times. The first time I did this trail, I had a my Jeep Gladiator with a 2.5" lift and 35s. I did just fine, but there were a few obstacles I couldn't quite make. A few months later I returned with 38" tires and 3.5" lift. This opened up some new routes I could take on the obstacles. There are still a couple routes I couldn't make with my set up, so I am excited to come back in a few years when I have a 4.5" lift on 40s. Thats what I like to much about this trail because there is opportunities for growth. The rock obstacles are difficult but nothing feels like you'd roll over or anything. Once you're done with this trail it dumps you out at the trail intersection with Box Canyon. Box canyon is a beautiful and easy trail to ride back to town on if you want. Or you can go the opposite direction and hit even more difficult trails like highway to hell or Ajax mine trail. Overall this is a fantastic trail that you won't want to skip.
