First 3 Mods You Should Get For Your Jeep Gladiator
Share
When you first buy a Jeep Gladiator you are most likely already thinking of ways to upgrade and modify it. Almost everyone will tell you to start with Wheels/tires and lift. I actually did that myself. But after owning a Gladiator for a few years now I made this video and am wiring this now to offer an alternative. There are 3 mods I think could actually be more important than a lift/tires. Keep in mind, these mods are for those who want to actually offroad their Jeep on trails harder than a 4 difficulty. If you're rock crawling, this list is for you. The first mod I suggest to get is rock sliders. And I would also highly recommend weld on rock sliders. They are more expensive, but for good reason. They are much stronger than bolt on sliders. Bolt on sliders also can be bent up into the frame of your jeep. Sliders give you peace of mind and protection from slamming into big rocks. The 2nd mod is a full belly pan. The Gladiator has such a long wheelbase so you'll be scraping along rocks all the time. This is where a belly pan comes in handy. It lets you slide over the rocks and not get hung up. More importantly, you dont damage any components under your Jeep. the third mod is a steel rear bumper, if you dont already have one from the factory. On moderate to difficult trails, I hit my rear bumper at least once. Having a strong bumper is important because otherwise it would crumble! The video above goes into more detail as to why I suggest these 3 mods. While lift and tires help you perform better offroad, these mods will project your Jeep when rock crawling which might be more important.
