Hoss - Short Offroad Trail Near In Tortilla Flat

Hoss is just past Tortilla Flat as you head down the Apache Trail or highway 88. This trailhead is only 1 mile past the small town. This little town gets very busy. They have live music and great food! We went there for lunch after the trail. The trail itself had some pin striping toward the beginning of the trail and started bumpy. It was pretty quick and only took us just under 2 hours. The view at the end is beautiful. Overall though the trail isnt that remarkable. I love getting out in the desert for new trails but idk if I would recommend this trail unless you are looking for a trail near Tortilla flat. This trail was easy for my Jeep. I would rate it a 3..maybe 3.5 on the difficulty scale. There are some off-chute trails that you could explore if you had time, but we were on a time crunch. I may go back one day to check those out. Overall this was fun, but I wasn't blown away.
