Offroad 101 - Lesson 1: Gear You Need

Offroad 101 - Lesson 1: Gear You Need

Before you head out on the trail you're going to need some specific trail gear! There is an extremely long list of gear you can bring, but as long as you bring the essentials you should be fine, especially if you're just starting out with easier trails.

Essential Gear:
- Rapid Tire Deflate
- Air Compressor
- Gloves
- Flashlight
- Kinetic Recovery Rope
- Tow Rope
- First Aid Kit
- Fire Extinguisher
- Tool Kit
- Tire Lug Key (if you have aftermarket wheels)
- High Jack (If you have a lift with bigger tires)

These are all the essentials you'll want to bring. In my video above I go into detail of what you need each item. I also talk about all the other items you should bring. But you can build out your gear slowly. You dont need to buy it all at once. Other than the Rapid tire deflator and Air compressor I almost never use any of the other gear. It is all just in case..and I very rarely use any of it, but I would rather have it and not need it then wish I had it. I actually use my gear on helping other people on the trail that are less prepared than I am! Let me know if you have any questions about gear!.
