Perfect Trail For The Whole Family - Soldier's Pass

Soldier's Pass Trail in Sedona, Arizona is a fantastic trail for the entire family. It only took us about an hour and half to complete and there were a few awesome spots to hop out and take in the beautiful landscape along the way. Most notable are the Devi's Kitchen Sink Hole and the 7 Sacred Pools. Both have lots of parking space and room to get out and walk around. This trail is also a moderate trail so it wasn't too tough. I didnt need a spotter for anything and the most difficult spot was one small rock ledge. I put it into 4low for that, but otherwise I was in 4hi the entire trail. The trial is pretty bumpy, but nothing airing down your tires won't cure. You will encounter a lot of hikers on this trail because there are a few secretions where the hiking trail and 4x4 trail intersect. Not only that, but a lot of hikers were walking down the offroad trail. I am not sure if that was by accident or they just wanted to check it out. Just be cautious and assume there are hikers around blind corners. This trail does require a permit and only 12 rigs are allowed on the trail per day. That means it shouldn't be busy. Sedona is beautiful in all directions! This one is worth doing for sure!
